Happy Birthday! Mr. Thelonious Monk would have been 99 today. I may be the only one to make this connection but, hey, here goes.

Mr. Monk's middle name was "Sphere" and here we are celebrating Columbus Day on his birthday... the commemoration of the man who discovered that the world was not flat but, well, a sphere!

So, here's to out of the box thinkers.... a tribute to 2 men who danced to the beat of their own drummer (in the case of Mr. Monk... literally 😉).
