Newton Faulkner "Teardrop"

Newton Faulkner (my ginger beard obsession continues)

A few years ago, Newton Faulkner (percussive guitar wizard) needed a cover song for a radio station session.  Lucky for our ears, he went with Massive Attack's "Teardrop".

Yes, this song is a poetic stunner, but that's not the only reason Mr. Faulkner chose it.  "Teardrop" is made up of 4 parts: bass, guitar, harpsichord, and drums.... all of which Newton can conveniently play on one instrument, sitting in one chair while he delicately sings over top of it all.... Delicately that is, until he starts to freakin WAIL.

It's goooood... so good.

Hell. Yes.

Love love (is a verb),
