Well, you could...
Call them an English progressive trance group.
Call them owners of London-based electronic dance music labels Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep.
Call them DJs who host a weekly radio show titled Group Therapy Radio.
And, you'd be right.
This trio, a concoction of Tony McGuinness, Jono Grant, and Paavo Siljamäki has been consistently ranked among DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJs Poll.
They are quite literally, Above & Beyond across the board. And, they've reigned supreme o'er Europe's dance, trance, & electronic music scene from "the year 2000" 'til 2014, when they went Above & Beyond-er.
See, in 2014, while Above & Beyond continued to delight masses of dance floor trixters (❤️) with their synthesized swoon, they also began to tantalize said trixters (❤) with an assortment of more... traditional instruments. Instruments made of actual strings & wood, not just metal and bites.
It seems that Above & Beyond write their tracks on this type of warm and creaky instrument before they synthesize them for the dance floor.
