While, Jenny and The Mexicats are not all Mexican... they ARE all cats (the cool kind that is).

An English trumpeter walks into a bar...

When English trumpeter and vocalist Jenny Ball was 18 and touring in an orchestra across Spain, she happened upon a Flamenco guitarist (Alfonso) and bassist (Luis) in a Flamenco nightclub.  One thing led to another and... they started planing and dreaming of playing music together.

With the addition of Spanish Cajón player, David González Bernardos, their patchwork quilt of sound and culture was complete.  Seamlessly melting Latin American music with flamenco, rock and jazz this 4-tet has actually created their own genre.

Give your Monday a jump with this nibble "Malditos Domingos" (Damn Sundays).

Yes, yes, yer welcome...
